Jake Birkett was the lead developer, artist, musician and tester for the game. The game was developed in Blitz Plus and features original music. This demo and its associated files are free for personal use but must not be distributed or used commercially unless permission is gained from Jake Birkett Computer Solutions Ltd. first. Because this demo is freeware, no warranty, either implicit or implied, is included. Use at your own risk. System Requirements ------------------- PC running Windows 95 or higher Graphics Card capable of 800x600 32-bit colour DirectX 7 or higher Sound Card (recommended) 4Mb Hard Disk Space How To Play ----------- Shoot the aliens. When you get to the end of the level you will start the level again with greater firepower and the aliens will appear more quickly. After 10 levels the game is over. Keys ---- Use the keys to move the spaceship Press (and hold) to fire guns Press to quit the game back to Windows The following keys are debug keys: Press to immediately exit the game back to Windows Press to summon another wave of aliens Press <1> to <9> to change number of bullets +/- increase/decrease bullets (up to 20) Press

again to unpause Press to commit suicide. Press to go into slow motion mode. Press again to turn off. Press to turn off VWait, gives fastest FPS possible. Press to turn on/off Debug stats. Shoot.ini file -------------- NOT YET IMPLEMENTED The Shoot.ini file can be edited with Notepad and controls several aspects of the game as follows: You can disable music and/or sounds by changing the corresponding flags to 0. Set Fade to 0 to skip the intro. If you encounter any framerate or graphical glitches, try changing Flip False from 0 to 1. If your system cannot run 800x600 in 32-bit colour, try changing the 16Bit Graphics flag from 0 to 1. To run full-screen, change the Windowed Mode flag from 1 to 0. If you want to prevent common Windows keys from interfering with the game, change Lock Keys from 0 to 1. Credits -------
