It involves running around and eating mushrooms as quickly as possible. Jake Birkett was the lead developer, artist, musician and tester for the game. The game was developed in Blitz Plus and features original music. The game is freeware and comes with no warranty of any kind. However, the music is copyrighted, so please do not distribute it, except with the game. System Requirements ------------------- PC running Windows 95 or higher Graphics Card capable of 800x600 32-bit colour DirectX 7 or higher Sound Card (recommended) 4Mb Hard Disk Space How To Play ----------- - Run around the screen and eat the mushrooms as quickly as possible. - If you eat them all, the next level will have more mushrooms and a smaller time limit. - If you run out of time, you loose a life. - When you loose all your lives, it's game over! - Try to get to level 20! - You may get a high score. Wait for approx. 4 seconds on the title screen to see the high scores. Keys ---- Use the keys to move the man Press

to pause the game Press to quit the current game Press to take a screenshot Press to exit the game completely Shroom.ini file ---------------- The Shroom.ini file can be edited with Notepad and controls several aspects of the game as follows: You can disable music and/or sounds by changing the corresponding flags to 0. Set Fade to 0 to skip the intro. If you encounter any framerate or graphical glitches, try changing Flip False from 0 to 1. If your system cannot run 800x600 in 32-bit colour, try changing the 16Bit Graphics flag from 0 to 1. Note that WINDOWED MODE=1 and LOCK KEYS=1 are not currently supported.
